“Re-Visiting Decroux brings to New York scene some of Etienne Decroux’s original choreographies performed through a Brazilian lens; and original choreographies created from Corporeal Mime technique principals. The night will bring works where thoughts sculpt bodies.
The project is not just a revival, it is a re-visiting, bringing to the stage some of Decroux’s repertoire pieces with a Brazilian twist to it. Reconstructing in a new light, deconstructing the European baggage of it to re-present with Latin eyes.” -Selma Trevino-
